Come in Italia si Affrontano i Problemi - How We Tackle the Problems in Italy
Stavo leggendo un articolo sul Corriere della Sera di Venerdi, quando ho capito che il problema principale è che in Italia nessuno sembra capire qual'è la causa della bassa natalità nel nostro paese. L'Istituto Italiano di Medicina faceva notare come il maschio Italiano stia invecchiando e non voglia più figli. Tutto vero. L'adolescenza talvolta si prolunga fino ai 34 (!!) anni e solo il 18% dei genitori pensano che i figli debbano uscire di casa alla maggiore età. Tutti lo sanno. Bene, sapete come cerchiamo di risolvere il problema? Nell'articolo vengono citate "campagne di comunicazione" per promuovere la genitorialità da parte del ministero della salute e della famiglia per evitare che la nostra società si trasformi in una società sterile! Prima di tutto forse gli studiosi del ministero non si sono accorti che siamo una società sterile oramai da diversi anni, e sterile non solo dal punto di vista delle nascite, ma anche di idee. Inoltre come pensano di risolvere il problema con campagne di comunicazione? Se leggete il commento di Alberto su il post dell'università Italiana avrete la risposta. I giovani Italiani non si sposano e non fanno figli perchè lavorano praticamente gratis proprio nel periodo in cui dovrebbero farsi una famiglia indipendente. Quale pazzo si sposerebbe senza un reddito che gli permetta almeno di pagare l'affitto? La scelta di non avere figli è certamente fatta da individui razionali che vogliono sopravvivere e non morire di fame. Noi giovani aspettiamo senza fare nulla e tolleriamo anche personale anziano del ministero che propone misure ridicole per aiutarci a formarci una nostra famiglia. Non hanno capito che prima devono darci dignità e un lavoro per sopravvivere.
I was reading an article on Corriere della Sera on Friday, when I understood that the principal problem is that in Italy no one seems to understand which is the cause of low birth rate in our country. The Italian Institute of Medicine noted that the Italian male is ageing and he does not want kids anymore. All true. Italian adolescence sometimes arrives until 34 years old (!!) and just 18% of parents think that children should leave the household at 18 years old. Everyone knows that. Well, do you know how we try to solve the problem? In the article were cited "communication campaigns" to promote parenthood fundend by the ministry of Health and ministry of the Family to avoid that Italy will become a sterile society! First of all maybe the experts of the ministry did not notice that our society is sterile since many years not only for a birth rate point of view but also of ideas. Moreover how do they think to solve the problem with communication campaigns? If you read the comment by Alberto on the university post you will have the answer. The Italian youth do not marry and they do not make children because we work for free right in the period in which we should create our indipendent family. Which fool would marry without an income to pay the rent? The choice not to have children is driven by rational individuals who wants to survive, not starve. We wait without doing nothing and we also tolerate that old personnel from the ministry propose ridicolous measures to help us creating our own family. They did not understand that first they have to give us dignity and a job to survive.
thanks for your comment. Indeed, that's the aim of my blog. I want to create a movement of the youth, which will try to push for a radical change in Italy. I think, like you, that the change should come from us. We have to create our own political movement to intervene and change the way our country is managed. (Comment this)
ho appreso dal blog la notizia di questa "campagna di comunicazione".A leggerla così fa quasi sorridere, ma io credo che sia il sintomo di un problema molto più grosso: nessuno ha il coraggio di prendersi delle responsabilità. Anzi, si tende a scaricarle su di altri. Questa proposta sembra dire "coraggio ragazzi, svegliatevi. se non fate figli l'italia morirà e sarà solo colpa vostra". E questo è anche quello che appare su tutti i mezzi di informazione e che di conseguenza si ripercuote sull'opinione pubblica. se fermi una signora per strada e le chiedi un'opinione a riguardo, lei certamente ti dirà che i giovani sono mammoni e che non vogliono andare via di casa perchè è tutto più facile. Ma come hai sottolineato la causa del problema è da tutt'altra parte. L'unica campagna che andrebbe fatta è quella per informare adeguatamente gli italiani su ciò che sta accadendo davvero! solo allora i politici, incalzati, si muoverebbero. Ma loro il problema vero lo conoscono! E bene! solo che è molto più comodo far finta di non vedere le cose piuttosto che affrontarle. (Comment this)
1) By the year 2050,most of the nations of Europe will have a median age of much more than 50-which means as much as 2/3 of the adult population would then be eligible for public pensions under today's rules--adding the impact of ageing on healthcare expenditures and the extra public cost could easily exceed 10% of GDP in those countries.
2) Governments will be forced to choose between economically ruinous tax rises and politically impossible benefit cuts. Either that, or they will have to slash other budget areas (such as education, infrastruture and defence) or run large fiscal deficits (and undermine national savings) to make ends meet.
As Marco mentioned in "'Structural' Reforms", if now, investment in youth, research and university is not sufficient in Italy, it will be even less likely to carry on the reform in the future where funds need to be used to cover the huge pension and other ageing cost.
3)A shrinking labour force requires less annual investment and limits opportunities for technological innovation,i.e. learning by doing. Smaller societies are not only less able to benefit from economies of scale but also acquire an ageing stock of human capital which lacks the creative and entrepreneurial drive associated with youth.
It is a responsibility of every member of an ageing country to call for better and more effective policies and if necessary, a true structural reform! (Comment this)
